Qualifications and Training
• Level 4 HLTA Qualification or Teaching Degree
• Excellent numeracy/literacy/ICT skills
Experience
• Experience of planning, preparing and delivering individual, group and whole class learning activities
• Experience of analysing, monitoring, evaluating and tracking pupil progress
• Awareness of child protection
Personal Qualities
• Ability to relate well with children and adults
• Strong ability to work as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• A passion for the safety and welfare of pupils
Other
• Reliability and flexibility
• Sense of humour
DESIRABLE
Qualifications and Training
• Specialist training to support areas of additional need
• Evidence of further related training or interests
• First-Aid training as appropriate
Experience
• Understanding of behaviour techniques
