About the Role
Hays are currently recruiting for an experienced Job Information & Evaluation Support Officer to join a high‑profile programme on an interim 6‑month contract.In this pivotal role, you will work at the centre of a large-scale job evaluation programme, gathering high‑quality job information from managers and employees. Your work will enable fair, transparent and accurate job evaluations that help shape the future organisational structure.This role requires a proactive, organised and people‑focused individual who is confident in engaging with stakeholders and maintaining momentum in a fast‑paced project environment.
Key Responsibilities
Engagement & Information Gathering
- Initiate and maintain proactive contact with managers and employees to obtain accurate, complete and high‑quality job information.
- Provide clear guidance on completing job descriptions, person specifications and preparation for JDQs.
- Ensure consistency of messaging, approach and expectations across the organisation.
Coordination & Communication
- Work in partnership with Job Evaluators to plan briefings, JDQ workshops and key touchpoints.
- Chase progresses throughout the evaluation cycle to ensure deadlines and targets are achieved.
- Coordinate meetings, document actions, monitor delivery and keep all stakeholders fully updated.
Quality Assurance & Data Management
- Quality - assure all submitted information to reduce delays and minimise Requests for Additional Information (RFAIs).
- Maintain accurate and well‑organised project documentation, ensuring all evidence is stored in an auditable format.
- Update RoleMapper, OneNote and other tracking tools as required.
Reporting & Performance
- Provide weekly performance updates to the Programme Liaison and Performance Lead, highlighting risks, delays or concerns.
- Escalate emerging issues to Senior Job Evaluators promptly and appropriately.
Teamwork & Stakeholder Support
- Build strong, supportive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Support the wider Job Evaluation Team to ensure collective success within a high‑pressure, high‑profile programme of work.
- Contribute positively to a collaborative, target‑driven team culture.
