English Teacher – Long-term temporary and ongoing from April 2026

Duties as English Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that support progress across relevant Key Stages.
- Assess, track, and record pupil achievement using school systems.
- Create a calm, inclusive classroom environment that promotes high expectations.
- Differentiate lessons to meet varied needs and support all learners.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to departmental planning.
- Encourage a strong culture of reading, writing, and communication.
Ideal English Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge with confidence teaching English.
- Ability to deliver high-quality lessons that promote pupil progress.
- Effective classroom management and a consistent, supportive approach.
- Commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of pupils.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
