- Deliver engaging Drama lessons using provided plans
- Teach performance skills, script work, character development, and expressive arts
- Encourage creativity, confidence, teamwork, and communication
- Support practical and theory‑based learning activities
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of mixed‑ability groups
- Assess and record pupil progress when required
- Contribute to departmental activities during longer‑term placements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Drama and performing arts
- Confident behaviour management and classroom presence
- Ability to inspire and motivate students through creative teaching
- Flexible and adaptable across different year groups and school environments
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
