Summary
PE Teacher – Part-time, long-term temporary role starting as soon as possible for over 6 weeks with potential to continue

Duties as PE Teacher:
- Teach PE on a part‑time basis across relevant year groups
- Deliver engaging practical lessons that promote active participation
- Maintain consistent routines and positive behaviour expectations
- Adapt learning activities for mixed abilities and needs
- Provide verbal feedback to support pupil progress
- Support the organisation of PE resources and lesson setup
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistency
- Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare
Ideal PE Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching PE
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Able to motivate and support pupils of varied abilities
- Proactive, adaptable, and organised in lesson delivery
- Confident teaching practical sessions safely and effectively
- Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil well‑being
