SEND Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing from April 2026

Duties as SEND Teacher:
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of pupils with SEND.
- Implement individual education plans and contribute to ongoing assessment and reviews.
- Create a calm, structured, and supportive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and wider professionals.
- Support pupils’ personal, social, and emotional development.
- Maintain effective communication with colleagues and families.
Ideal SEND Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
- Experience working with pupils with a range of special educational needs.
- Strong understanding of adaptive teaching and behaviour support strategies.
- Patient, resilient, and able to build positive relationships with pupils.
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
