We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Band 3 Rehabilitation Assistant to join our friendly and supportive therapy team at Midway Unit, Langley House. This role sits within our in patient Intermediate Care general rehabilitation service.
Our service supports adults with a variety of physical needs arising from injury, illness, surgery, or long term conditions. We are looking for someone who is motivated, compassionate, and committed to helping people regain independence. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team that includes Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Dietitians, Speech and Language Therapists, Social Workers, and fellow Rehabilitation Assistants.

• Deliver prescribed treatment programmes to an allocated caseload, following competency based training and under the guidance of qualified therapy staff.
• Support the multidisciplinary team in planning and facilitating each patient’s rehabilitation journey, working within agreed goals and protocols.
• Ability to travel to patients homes to assist therapists with access assessments and home-based visits. Ability to drive is desirable but is not essential for this role.
• Assist therapists with administrative tasks such as completing paperwork, referrals, and other documentation required during rehabilitation.
• Manage a delegated caseload once competencies are achieved, reporting progress clearly and promptly, including any urgent or significant changes.
• Review caseloads regularly with the therapy team, sharing updates on goal progression, concerns, or new information that may influence treatment plans.
