Luma Education Recruitment is seeking an experienced Cover Supervisor to join a supportive SEN school. You’ll oversee lessons, manage behaviour, and support pupils of all abilities, helping them thrive in a positive, inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise whole classes during teacher absence, ensuring pupils remain on task
Support SEN pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development as directed
Lead small group interventions if required, under teacher guidance
Promote and maintain a calm, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements:
Prior experience providing cover in a school setting
Flexible, proactive, and confident supervising classes
Positive, patient, and resilient approach to supporting pupils
Able to follow lesson plans and school guidance
Enhanced DBS (on Update Service) required
