What will I do?
- Responsible for all aspects of the IT network and technical security function across the group
- Lead on information risk, cyber security, internal network security and compliance, and communication with ICO
- Project manage any new software, upgrades, configuration, or implementation projects through their full project life cycle
- Development of a framework of policies & processes and continually review and update as and when required
- Support the Director of IT with budget management
- Day to day management of Engineers and an IT Administrator, ensuring the group receive the technical support within agreed SLAs
- Ability to analyse and identify issues to ensure technical issues are resolved swiftly
- Design robust and secure network topologies
- Lead on any hotel acquisitions or rebrands where IT changes are required
- Work with the wider central support team on any new software, platforms, or technology to ensure a smooth integration within their department
- Present any new recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Design and implement the group security strategy as well as processes for new users & leavers
- Complete regular network penetration testing, vulnerability assessments and group audits
- Manage Cyber insurance policies and renewals
- Attend hotels and office locations to train teams on best practices
- Keep up to date on upcoming AI and IT technology
Is this the role for me?
- Strong leadership experience
- Have a broad IT generalist background
- Knowledge of IT risks and control standards (e.g. Cyber Essentials)
- Experience of leading, implementing and managing cyber security and general IT programmes
- Commercial and technical understanding of information security frameworks and systems including but not limited to Office 365, Citrix, Sophos, Firewalls and WAN routing
- Experience of internal and external stakeholder management
- Ability to translate technical issues into business terms
- Project management experience
- Budget management
- Problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
- Possess excellent training and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
