We are seeking an enthusiastic and versatile Teacher of L4L (Literacy for Life) to join our dynamic team.
L4L is our thematic, knowledge‑rich curriculum at Key Stage 3, designed to develop powerful knowledge, critical thinking and cross‑curricular understanding. Through rich texts, real‑world contexts and carefully sequenced enquiry, L4L provides students with the foundations they need to thrive across the wider curriculum.

Shireland CBSO Academy, opened in September 2023, is a unique institution established in partnership with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. Whether you are an experienced practitioner or an Early Career Teacher, you will be supported to deliver high‑quality learning within a curriculum that values creativity, high expectations and inclusivity.
