What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking a class teacher with a sound pedagogical background and a commitment to pupil progress to join our wonderful team of staff, who are committed to providing the best opportunities for our children.
What the school offers its staff
Located in the heart of a World Heritage site, St Alfege with St Peter’s Church of England Primary school can offer you supportive colleagues, ongoing training which meets your individual professional development needs and children who have an enthusiasm for learning. Our carefully mapped out curriculum ensures the cultural diversity of all children is valued and they are able to become fully immersed in their learning. As a Church of England School, Christianity is at the heart of all we do, so although you do not have to be a practicing Christian, it is important that you are able to embrace the ethos of our school community.
If you are looking for a chance to focus on your teaching and the outcomes of children then we encourage you to arrange a visit to the school to meet with the Headteacher, Amanda Wilson. This can be arranged by Daisy Smith, our School Business Manager, on 0208 858 3613 or by emailing daisy.smith@stalfegeschool.org.uk.
Our latest Ofsted and SIAMS reports will give you an insight into our exciting and caring school. Both documents can be found on our school website.
