Contract: Temporary, Term Time Only plus INSET days
Hours: 32.5 hours per week
Pay Scale: Grade 10 £26,824 - £28,142 per annum (£20,266 - £21,261 pro rata)
We are looking for two caring, motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our supportive and friendly school community.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about helping children thrive, supporting high quality learning, and making a meaningful impact every day.
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and other staff to support pupils both in and out of the classroom. You will help create a positive learning environment, provide targeted support where needed, and contribute to the wider life of the school.
We are looking for someone who:
• Is enthusiastic, patient and committed to supporting pupils’ learning and wellbeing.
• Builds positive relationships with children, staff and families.
• Can work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.
• Shows initiative, flexibility and a willingness to learn.
• Has good communication skills and a genuine interest in education.
• Experience working with children or in a school setting is desirable, but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting teaching and learning within the classroom.
• Working with small groups or individual pupils to help them progress.
• Assisting with planning, resources and classroom organisation.
• Contributing to assessment by observing and recording pupil progress.
• Supporting pupils with additional needs where required.
These are temporary posts for one year with the possibility of extension if funding remains.
