Job Title: Additional Requirements Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Primary (PRI)
Location: West Midlands – B70
Position: Full-Time / Part-Time (Flexible)

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and caring Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join the team at St Andrew's RC Primary School, West Midlands (B70). The successful candidate will support pupils with additional learning requirements, helping to provide a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
You will work closely with class teachers and SEN coordinators to deliver tailored support that meets the individual needs of pupils.
Key Responsibilities
•
Support pupils with additional learning needs across the primary curriculum
•
Work one-to-one or in small groups to support learning and development
•
Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons adapted to pupil needs
•
Help pupils develop social, emotional, and academic skills
•
Monitor and report on pupil progress to teachers and SEN coordinators
•
Contribute to maintaining a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
•
Follow school safeguarding and behaviour policies
Requirements
•
Previous experience supporting children with additional learning needs in a primary school
•
Good communication and teamwork skills
•
Patience, empathy, and a supportive approach to working with children
•
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
Desirable
•
Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
•
Experience working with SEN pupils
•
Knowledge of strategies to support learning, behaviour, and inclusion
