Crynodeb
Responding to requests and resolving queries received verbally, via email and routine reports on a daily basis. Liaise with Medical Secretaries, Administrative staff, Clinical Business Unit management teams and clinicians to resolve problems of missing, incomplete, inconsistent or ambiguous data Performing routine Data Quality checks on data entered onto the Epic system Run routine Data Quality reports from the Epic system on errors or inconsistencies in administrative patient and activity recording data, to ensure that data recorded meets national standards. Apply value judgement, knowledge of NHS Data Definitions and hospital procedures in interpreting these reports to identify the source of errors Liaise with the Data Quality Manager to help identify themes and overarching solutions or highlight training needs or further education within the Trust Assist in carrying out regular audits within the Data Quality team. This will involve auditing data collected by various teams, e.g. Admissions, Referrals and other Clinic Areas and departments. Liaising with relevant staff members to resolve any Data Quality problems to ensure compliance and that all data is accurately recorded for all patients To assist in training new team members in all Data Quality Team tasks and responsibilities, ensuring that new staff members achieve high data quality standards
