Crynodeb
Role: Holiday Coordinator as part of the halow project, a charity providing support to adults with learning disabilities.
Location: Guildford based, includes frequent travel to holiday destinations (including overseas working)
Hours: 37.5 hours pw, working 5 of 7 days a week (including weekends)
Salary: £26, 883.96
Annual Leave: 33 days, inclusive of bank holidays.
Training: You will receive fully paid training supplementing any previously completed relevant training, with further development opportunities also available to progress your role and career.
You will be responsible for:
-Planning, booking and managing holidays for halow service users
-Managing a small team of up to five staff members accompanying the holidays
-Ensuring all activities are accessible for individuals with varying abilities
-Undertaking risk assessments of activities an holidays
-Supporting the Social Activities Coordinator during periods of spare capacity and when cover is required.
Requirements:
-Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities
-Proven ability to manage budgets and financial controls
-Excellent organizational and communication skills
-Willing to travel and undertake work overseas
-A full driving licence and access to a vehicle which can be used for organisational purposes
-Suitable references
-Aged 18 and above
-Right to work in the UK- Please note we are currently unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role
-Willing to undertake an Basic DBS Check. The initial cost of the DBS application will be paid for by halow
