Salary: £13.00 per hour
Enhanced rates for weekends
24 hours per week
Mix of shifts working 9-5pm and 11-7pm during the week and alternate Saturday availability essential
We are looking for a committed and adaptable Activities Coordinator to assist with an appropriate range of activities and opportunities for social interaction, learning and pleasure, for groups and individuals, in order to promote independence, self-confidence, self-esteem and enhance the quality of life of the residents. Assist in the development of social contacts and friendships, allowing time to retain past skills, and learn new ones for fun and laughter.
The calendar of events can include fitness, arts & crafts, musical events and group discussions as well as trips out to various places of interest. You will need a full clean driving licence as you may need to drive the company minibus.
Seckford Care is an award winning, CQC Outstanding care facility based in our beautiful grade 2* listed building in the heart of Woodbridge. We provide 30 Extra Care apartments for those who wish to live independently, safe in the knowledge that carers are on hand 24 hours a day. We provide 26 residential care rooms in Jubilee House for those who would like their own comfortable room, all their meals, laundry and cleaning provided. Our dedicated Activities team facilitates a wide range of activities for all residents at Seckford Care.
