Ready to impact a better future? As a Progression Job Coach in our Employability – Restart Scheme team, you’ll help people build confidence, overcome barriers, and move closer to meaningful work. Every conversation, plan, and breakthrough contributes to a more positive future for the individuals you support and the wider community.
You’ll create tailored employment journeys for Participants referred by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), supporting them to prepare for, secure, and sustain work. Your empathy, organisation, and problem‑solving skills will help people navigate challenges, stay motivated, and make real progress.
What you’ll do as a Progression Job Coach You’ll be entrusted to:
- Manage a caseload of Participants referred to the Restart Scheme.
- Build trusted, positive relationships that help Participants understand their strengths and ambitions.
- Deliver tailored action plans that break down barriers and support job readiness.
- Motivate, challenge, and coach individuals to maintain momentum throughout their journey.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, local employers, and community partners to create employment opportunities.

- The motivation to meet performance targets and deliver high‑quality support.
Vetting and checks: This role requires BPSS clearance, which involves identity verification, employment history, and criminal record checks to meet government security standards. An Occupational Health Questionnaire will also be required to ensure we can offer appropriate support for your wellbeing and performance.
