An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the dynamic and innovative Young Person’s service within Warwickshire as a Young Person's Resilience Worker.

Evolve is Change Grow Live’s confidential service in Warwickshire supporting young people between the ages of 5 and 25. We offer advice and guidance to young people who are affected by a loved one’s drug or alcohol misuse or if they are using drugs or alcohol themselves and want support to make changes. We also support parents and young people who are affected by another’s drug and/or alcohol use. We are an experienced staff team with people that want to make a real difference to peoples lives.

Working Hours: Part time, 30 hours per week*
Full Time Salary Range: £27,861.26- £32,002.35, pro rata
Contract Term : Permanent

The successful candidate will:
Be hard working, enthusiastic, non-judgmental and have the confidence to engage young people and work closely with their families and partner agencies.
Offer support to young people where they feel most comfortable. This post will involve outreach work as well as having access to a central base. Working creatively is important as some young people will also prefer to work digitally.
Hold a caseload, meaning they will engage young people typically on a one-to-one basis to complete a comprehensive assessment, identify support needs and manage any risk.
Deliver evidence-based interventions to help them reach their goals, increase their understanding and ability to keep safe and make behavioural changes.
Identify and respond effectively to any safeguarding concerns and share these with the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
Co-ordinate and deliver targeted group interventions.
Record notes on to the system in a timely and accurate fashion.
You will upskill the team on anything centred around your specialist lead.
Deliver training and consultation to other professionals on the issues facing young people, especially around your specialist lead area of expertise.

About you:
Experience of working with young people and knowledge of the issues they face.
Knowledge of safeguarding concerns in relation to children and young people and the Fraser Competence framework
Have an excellent understanding of drug and alcohol issues and experience of working within a related field
Knowledge of working with evidence-based practice around young people’s substance misuse treatment services and methods, including relevant best practice guidance
An accomplished communicator, both verbal and written with a high degree of personal IT competency
Be able to accurately update and maintain records and to work to deadlines for the submission of information, e.g., reports.
Have excellent team working and interpersonal skills, maintaining a highly cooperative.
Approach to supporting colleagues in delivering service objectives.
