Are you passionate about STEM and love working with children. Join Young Engineers this Easter and Summer and be part of something awesome!

We’re looking for energetic, creative, and reliable Lead Educators and Assistant Educators to help run our hands-on engineering holiday camps for children aged 6–12. Using LEGO®-based models, you’ll help young minds explore science, technology, engineering, and maths in a fun, exciting way during their school break.

When

Easter Holidays – full-time during camp weeks

Summer Holidays – full-time during camp weeks

Typical camp days: approx. 8:30/9:00 AM – 3:30/4:00 PM (times may vary slightly by venue)

Perfect for university students, trainee/part-time teachers, teaching assistants, or anyone who loves working with kids and is available full-time in the school holidays.

What You’ll Do – Lead Educator:

Lead fun, structured Young Engineers holiday camp sessions using our lesson plans and kits

Deliver clear instructions and keep sessions safe, engaging, and inclusive

Give daily introductions and safety briefings

Oversee the group, manage behaviour positively, and ensure all children are involved

Communicate confidently with parents/carers at drop-off and pick-up

Coordinate with venues and our internal team

Support and guide Assistant Educators

Ensure equipment and classrooms are set up, tidy, and safe each day

Uphold our standards for child safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality

What You’ll Do, Assistant Educator:

Support the Lead Educator in running activities and helping children with their models

Encourage and engage children throughout the day

Help with setting up and packing away equipment and classrooms

Assist with registers, headcounts, and general admin

Supervise break and lunch times in a safe, positive way

Be a friendly, enthusiastic role model for our young learners

Uphold our standards for child safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality

What We’re Looking For:

A passion for STEM and working with children

Great communication skills and a friendly, approachable personality

Organised, punctual, and reliable

Experience working with children (schools, clubs, tutoring, camps etc.) is a bonus, essential for Lead roles and desirable for Assistant roles

DBS checked (or willing to undergo one)

Access to transport preferred (multiple venues across Solihull & Warwickshire)

Perks:

Full training and all materials provided

Holiday-full-time work that fits around term-time commitments

Be part of a growing, fun, and supportive team
