Crynodeb

We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis (e.g. job share), despite the position being advertised as full-time.

We are seeking to appoint an Associate Professor with an academic or professional track-record in the field of project management (with focus on Strategic Programme Management). The successful candidate will hold significant professional or academic experience of Project Management and take a lead role in developing new courses in areas of relevance to WMG. We are particularly interested in applicants with knowledge of requirement management, programme governance, benefits management, organisational change and programme management frameworks, principles, themes and processes.

About You

For roles at Associate Professor level the successful candidate will hold a doctorate, or equivalent professional qualification alongside a postgraduate degree, significant experience of high-quality teaching and module/course development and a track record of engagement with innovative educational practice. For appointments at Associate Professor there is an expectation that the appointee be willing to take on leadership roles within education, such as course leader, managing a small team of academic staff or other educational leadership roles.

This role is on the University of Warwick Teaching Career Pathway, providing opportunities for advancement up to and including Professor level. This is an education focussed appointment and we are looking for candidates who can demonstrate experience of teaching in higher education and a passion for impactful education and positive student outcomes. Candidates with a track record in research outputs but limited educational experience are unlikely to be shortlisted for this role.
