Service Delivery Manager
Location: Stonehouse (office‑based with regional travel)
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 DOE
I'm working with a managed service provider that's looking for a Service Delivery Manager to take ownership of their technical support function. This is an office‑based role in Stonehouse with regular travel to nearby customer sites. You'll be responsible for leading a technical team, maintaining strong service levels, and delivering both operational support and project work.
What you'll be doing- Managing the day‑to‑day performance of the service desk and technical support team
- Ensuring service requests and tickets are resolved within SLA
- Coaching, mentoring and developing engineers across all levels
- Running regular customer service reviews and building strong relationships
- Handling escalations and resolving issues quickly and professionally
- Producing operational and performance reports for senior leadership
- Overseeing patching, updates, maintenance and system checks
- Making sure customer environments remain secure, stable and compliant
- Leading IT projects including upgrades, migrations and new solution deployments
- Managing external suppliers and keeping project timelines on track
- Working closely with internal teams to understand requirements and provide guidance

- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a service delivery or technical leadership role within an MSP
- Strong communication skills with confidence in customer‑facing situations
- Experience developing and managing technical teams
- A customer‑focused approach with excellent attention to detail
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Proven track record in delivering IT projects and managing suppliers
- Good understanding of infrastructure, cloud technologies, networking and cybersecurity best practice
