Job Title: Quality Inspector Nights
Location: Northampton NN5 7UW
Reporting to: Quality Manager
Pay: £14.50/£15.00
Hours: 22.00 to 06.00 (37.5 hours per week)

Job Description:
We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team at our Head Office in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic, quality-focused environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet industry standards and customer requirements, evaluating operations against company quality procedures, and ensuring continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure products comply with industry standards and customer specifications.
* Evaluate operations for compliance with company documentation and quality procedures.
* Track issues to resolution, including reviewing corrective actions taken.
* Perform sample inspections of suspect batches per established guidelines/procedures.
* Tag and segregate non-conforming materials.
* Conduct AQL inspections on consignments before dispatch.
* Perform surveillance and inspections per departmental procedures and report results, suggesting corrective actions as needed.
* Assist in resolving customer issues and support customer satisfaction.
* Provide flexibility and cover for additional responsibilities when required.

Requirements:
* Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949 quality management systems.
* Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to spot defects and inconsistencies.
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, able to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
* A strong knowledge of quality control procedures.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
