Job title: Personal assistant (PA)
Reporting to: The Employer
Location: Malvern, Worcestershire WR14
Job purpose:
To assist with a variety of tasks which will assist the employer who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.
About the employer:
My client is a 68-year-old Lady living in the WR14 area of Malvern who is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to provide social support for 4-5 hours weekly.
Our client is a friendly and sociable person who is easy to talk to and enjoys chatting with others. Our client has a good sense of humour and a warm personality.
Our client has a strong interest in animals and nature, enjoys spending time in her garden, growing herbs and watching wild birds. Our client also keeps fish and has had hamsters. She appreciates the natural world and likes learning about herbal remedies, aromatherapy, and herbal therapy.
Main duties:
PA to support with:
• Promoting emotional wellbeing
• Maintaining mental health
• Support to access the community and undertake shopping tasks
These duties may vary from day-to-day.
Type of person that they are looking for:
Values: Someone that is honest, reliable, punctual, non-judgemental, ability to build good relationships based on trust and respect, flexible, adaptable, easy going, able to work alone, positive, willingness to travel, understands equality & diversity and has a good sense of humour.
Hours of work: 4-5 hours per week
Rate of pay:
£12.50 per hour Employed Rate or £15.00 per hour Self-Employed Rate

Essential:
Full UK driving licence
Car and appropriate insurance
Confidentiality
Good at building relationships
Animal lover
Female personal assistant
Good communicator
Enjoys going for a coffee and a chat in the local area
A good listener
** This role is funded by the local authority and is paid 4 weekly **
** Successful applicants will require a DBS Check **
