South Molton | Day Shift | Temporary to Permanent | Onsite

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Stores Person for a well-established and busy manufacturing client in South Molton. This is an excellent opportunity to secure full-time work with the potential to transition to a permanent position.

Working Hours
  • Monday - Thursday: 8am - 4:45pm

  • Friday: 8am - 12pm

Key Duties
  • Issue parts against the appropriate material requests.

  • Receive and check components against incoming documentation, maintaining full traceability.

  • Assist with the physical movement of parts into and out of the stores area.

  • Issue and despatch transfer orders to other warehouses.

  • Carry out regular stock checks as required by company procedures.

  • Ensure all stock complies with company procedures at all times.

  • Use the appropriate company procedures and computerised stock control system.

  • Conduct cycle counting as required.

Requirements
  • Previous stores experience, ideally within aerospace or another tightly regulated environment.

  • Experience using a computerised stock control system, ideally involving MRP.

  • Numerate and literate with good attention to detail.
