Crynodeb
Although this post is a not approved for Foundation training, you will be expected to participate in all the activities within Foundation training with a view to enhancing your skills and attaining an approved Foundation post in the future. We would encourage and assist you in developing a portfolio and there are regular teaching sessions which you are able to attend. The Upper GI team prides itself on its supportive and welcoming team spirit and you will be an essential part of our day-to-day work. We provide both secondary and tertiary care to patients from Plymouth and beyond in all areas of upper GI surgery (oesophago-gastric and Hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery). This post currently has no on call commitment, and as such is un-banded. There may be the opportunity to add an on-call element to the post if the candidate was keen to do so.
