Summary
The appointed doctor will support the delivery of high-quality care to patients within the ENT department, working as part of a multidisciplinary team. The post holder will assist in the assessment, investigation and management of patients across inpatient, outpatient and emergency settings, under the supervision of senior medical staff. The role will also include participation in the assessment and management of acute referrals, supporting the smooth running of the service and ensuring safe and effective patient care. The successful candidate will be encouraged to take part in clinical audit, quality improvement activities and continuing professional development. Opportunities to contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching may also be available.
