Our client, a well-established family-run dealership in Cardiff, is currently recruiting a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated team. This position offers a competitive salary, comprehensive training, and attractive benefits, making it an ideal opportunity for a professional looking to progress in the motor trade industry.

- Salary ranging from £30,000 to £36,000 per annum, dependent on experience
- Guaranteed team-based bonus of £300 per month
- Overtime paid at time and a half

- Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm, with 1 in 4/5 Saturday mornings (8:30am-12:30pm) paid at time and a half
Duties:
- Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards
- Communicate vehicle condition issues, safety concerns, and potential performance enhancements to the Workshop Controller
- Ensure all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and to quality standards
- Adhere to all safety procedures and workshop protocols
- Maintain high levels of workmanship and professionalism in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, ideally within a main dealership environment
- UK driving licence with minimal points
- Active MOT licence is highly advantageous but not essential
- Strong team player with a methodical and organised approach to workload
- High standard of workmanship and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently when required
- Enthusiasm for technician training and career development
