We are pleased to represent our client, a prestigious franchise-approved dealer group, in their search for a qualified Commercial Vehicle Technician to join their busy Swindon dealership. Duties:

- Perform major and minor repairs on heavy goods vehicles or light commercial vehicles, as part of your role as a Commercial Vehicle Technician
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks
- Diagnose faults and collaborate with the repair team to deliver efficient solutions
- Maintain workshop stock and ensure a clean, safe working environment
- Document all repair activities using industry-standard systems such as Keyloop or Kerridge
- Manage warranty claims, escalating issues when necessary
- Carry out wheel alignments and tyre replacements
- Complete customer documentation accurately and within designated timeframes
- Contribute to a safe and productive workshop environment

Requirements:

- Fully qualified Commercial Vehicle Technician with IMI/NVQ Level 3 certification or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle or Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Ideally, 1-2 years’ practical experience in a similar Commercial Vehicle Technician role
- A proactive team player with a professional attitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop setting and produce high-quality work
- Motivated to achieve targets and contribute positively to the team
- Hold an HGV driving licence is desirable but not essential
