Oakfield is a vibrant and exciting primary school, enjoying excellent relationships with children, parents, carers and the wider community. Located in the St. Mellons area of Cardiff, our team works closely with other professionals and agencies for the benefit of the children and their families.
This is an extremely exciting opportunity to join our hardworking and committed team. The Governing Body wishes to appoint a reliable, self-motivated and well organised person to the position of estates assistant.
The successful candidate should have some experience of working in, and supporting a school estates team and have the ability to establish genuine relationships with key staff in helping ensure the school site is safe for all.
This position is a temporary contract. Short listed applicants will be invited to look around the school as part of the interview process. Potential candidates are also welcome to contact the school for an informal discussion. It may be subject to a Job Evaluation appeal which may result in the post being re-graded upwards or downwards.
This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
