The Partnership and Support Services is currently seeking four Information and Advice Officers to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the delivery of the Crisis Resilience Fund to help those in our community during financial shock and help build resilience.
A cheerful personality, offering flexibility and being able to work as part of a team and across Island locations is essential in this role as well as being able to remain calm when working under pressure.
You will be responsible for resolving a variety of enquiries at the first point of contact across a range of channels including phone, email, social media, and face to face

You will be the first point of contact
Use bespoke and specific systems
Keep customer contacts updated
Process payments
Signpost customers and colleagues
Support customers to complete relevant paperwork
The successful candidates must be able to demonstrate a passion for excellent customer service along with good communication, customer service, telephony, and IT skills are a must as is customer service experience, and literacy skills and, whilst not essential, knowledge of telephony systems and the Council’s CRM system would be desirable, but training can be provided.
