Customer Services Advisor (Bank)

Brighton Hospital | Sales and Business Development | Bank Contract - Ad hoc

£12.58 per hour

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a Customer Services Advisor you will have proven experience in administration within a complex, fast-paced environment, alongside strong call-handling skills and excellent IT proficiency.


As a Customer Services Advisor, you will:

  • Liaise directly with customers, answering all enquiries.

  • Contribute to and manage local business development, marketing and communication initiatives to promote the services of the hospital throughout the local community.

  • To handle customer enquiries (both telephone and internet), supplying potential customers with information about the services offered at the hospital

  • To support the Medical Secretaries and Hospital Bookings Teams to ensure that customer requirements/queries are effectively dealt with.

  • To coordinate customer journeys, ensuring that customers have a good understanding of the defined customer journey expectations including

  • Identifying all hospital areas which have customer touch points to ensure shared knowledge and understanding

  • Providing information required to enable other areas to respond to all customer enquiries to the defined quality and timeline standards

As a Customer Services Advisor, you will have:

  • Proven experience in a customer service, sales or marketing role

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a good level of IT literacy

  • Good organizational skills
