Export Sales Administrator - West Bromwich
The Best Connection is currently recruiting for an Export Sales Administrator on a permanent contract basis, on behalf of our well-established and highly respected client based in West Bromwich. Monday - Thursday: 08:30 - 16:30
Friday: 08:30 - 16:00
Pay Rate
£13.00 - £14.55 per hour (depending on experience)
As an Export Sales Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting international sales operations by managing customer orders, coordinating shipments, and ensuring export documentation is accurate and compliant. You will be the main point of contact between customers, international sales managers, transport companies, and internal departments to ensure orders are processed efficiently from receipt to dispatch.
Key Responsibilities-
Processing customer orders using the company's computerised system (currently Syspro).

Checking stock availability and managing customer queries including credits and debits.

Coordinating communication between customers, international sales managers and transport companies.

Managing orders from receipt through to dispatch.

Preparing and checking export shipping documentation and invoices.

Organising collections and shipment arrangements where required.

Ensuring compliance with international export regulations and customs requirements.

Liaising with internal departments such as manufacturing, assembly and dispatch.

Updating dispatch dates on the system and notifying customers of changes.

Maintaining accurate records of all shipment documentation including orders, manifests and collection notes.

Providing support with customer enquiries regarding stock, pricing and technical information where possible.

Following company administrative procedures and maintaining high standards of accuracy.

Experience working with export commercial documentation.

Strong English and Mathematics skills.

Good IT skills with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Excellent telephone and communication skills.

Ability to build strong relationships with customers.

Good understanding of customer service principles.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectively.

High level of attention to detail.

Experience dealing with international customers would be advantageous.
