A well-established automotive organisation specialising in the manufacturing and distribution of vehicle parts is looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to join the team in Hayes. This role will support the smooth running of warehouse operations, ensuring automotive parts are handled, stored, and dispatched accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations including picking, packing, goods-in, and dispatch of automotive parts and components
- Support and guide warehouse operatives to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory checks and stock control
- Ensure orders are prepared accurately and dispatched within required deadlines
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment in line with health and safety standards
- Assist with operational reporting and highlight any stock discrepancies or operational issues
- Previous warehouse experience, ideally with some supervisory or team leadership responsibilities
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as part of daily warehouse duties
- Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods in a busy warehouse environment
- Basic computer skills for stock systems and operational reporting
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures within a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Flexible approach to working hours when operational needs require it
- Role involves regular heavy lifting and manual handling of automotive parts
- Ability to remain active throughout the shift in a fast-paced warehouse environment
