We’re looking for a talented, reliable Chef to join the team at the Blue Bell Inn at Crookham, a well-loved country inn known for its home-cooked food, welcoming atmosphere and returning visitors.
Our guests come back again and again for proper pub food done well, from hearty evening meals to our popular Sunday roasts. We take pride in cooking fresh food made in house, and we’re looking for a chef who enjoys doing the same.
The Role
You’ll be a key part of our small kitchen team, taking the lead on the cooking during service and helping maintain the quality our guests expect.
Typical duties include:
- Preparing and cooking traditional pub dishes and Sunday lunches
- Working with fresh ingredients and house-made dishes
- Managing service and working as a team with our front of house staff
- Keeping the kitchen organised, clean and running smoothly
- Managing stock carefully to minimise wastage
- Maintaining all food safety standards and related paperwork
What We’re Looking For:
A chef who enjoys cooking honest, home-style pub food
Someone reliable who can run a service confidently
A good team player who can communicate well with other team members
Previous kitchen experience required
