Your new role
A well-regarded and high-achieving 11-16 secondary school is seeking a dedicated KS3 Geography Teacher to join its successful Humanities faculty. The school is known for its strong academic focus, positive learning culture and well-established behaviour systems, providing a calm environment where both staff and students can thrive.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured Geography lessons across KS3
- Setting high expectations and supporting students to achieve strong progress
- Contributing to the collaborative and reflective culture of the Humanities team
- Maintaining excellent classroom management and consistent routines
- Participating in department initiatives and ongoing curriculum development
What you'll need to succeed
- A UK-recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
- Recent experience teaching KS3 Geography
- Someone who is engaging, and approachable
- A teacher who can support students who need extra help and make lessons inclusive
