Summary

Computing Teacher - Bolton - Long-Term, Full-Time Role
A brilliant opportunity has arisen for a passionate Computing Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in the Bolton area on a long-term, full-time basis. This is perfect for a specialist ready to make an impact and inspire students in Computing and Computer Science.
Location: Bolton
Contract: Long-term
⏰ Hours: Full-time (5 days per week)
Pay: Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience)
The Role:
- Deliver engaging Computing lessons across KS3 and KS4, including GCSE Computer Science
- Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with the curriculum
- Support students in developing programming, computational thinking, and digital literacy skills
- Maintain strong classroom management and behaviour standards
- Contribute positively to the department and school community

The Ideal Candidate:
- QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Computing/Computer Science to KS3 and KS4
- Confident in programming languages ( Python, Java, Scratch) and theory-based content
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and ready to commit to a long-term placement
