We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner to join our healthcare team working on our Same Day Access provision. This advert is for a practitioner to work Monday - Friday 6.30pm - 8.30pm. There is the possibility of flexibility within the working pattern or for this to be a job share, but there would be a requirement for the Friday evening to be worked. Additionality can be offered by working in Enhanced Access on a Saturday, which is between 8am - 5pm, and we are currently exploring Sunday working 10am - 2pm. However, this role is specifically for the weekday provision. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care. This role requires a thorough understanding of public health principles, anatomy knowledge, and the ability to administer medication effectively. The General Practitioner will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating patients while ensuring their comfort and well-being. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments to diagnose medical conditions. Develop and implement treatment plans based on individual patient needs. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care, including referrals to specialists when necessary. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Educate patients and their families about health management, preventive care, and lifestyle choices. Stay informed about advancements in medical practices and public health initiatives. Qualifications Medical degree from an accredited institution with valid registration to practice as a General Practitioner. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology as well as proficiency in medication administration. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in managing patient records and treatment plans. Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with medical best practices. Pay Rates This position will attract a salary of up to £13,000 per session.
