If you’re brilliant at organisation and creating order, and you love working with people, upholding high standards in service and presentation, then this could be the role for you.

We’re looking for a Business Services Co-ordinator to join us at Surrey Hills.

What it's like to work here
Surrey Hills is a diverse portfolio of properties in the heart of the Surrey Countryside. Situated just 15 miles from London, Box Hill is a famed beauty spot remembered as the location for London Olympics road race. If you like the great outdoors, you’ll love this stunning location with its breath-taking views, fantastic walks and colourful wildlife. Box Hill has a thriving café, a shop and an information point where National Trust memberships are sold.

There’s also Hindhead Commons and the Devil’s Punch Bowl, which is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You won’t have to go far from our café and welcome spaces to admire the views and stunning scenery surrounding this area, visitors step into a colourful mosaic of purple, greens and gold, it’s quiet apart from the sounds of nature.

The portfolio also includes Leith Hill Place, the childhood home of the famous English composer Ralph Vaughan Williams near the village of Coldharbour in Surrey. Opened to the public for the first time in 2013, Leith Hill Place exudes an intimacy and informality. Stories of Vaughan Williams and his famous relatives, the Wedgwood family and Charles Darwin are waiting to be told. A house of many possibilities for the future.

What you'll be doing
This is a busy place, there’s a lot going on and you’ll find that no two days are the same.

Generally, you’ll be supporting day-to-day operations, and being one of the team that people see when they first come into the office. Your advice and experience will be sought after by others beyond the office team.

You’ll be a champion of best practice when it comes to business support, and will confidently challenge the status quo when you think there’s a better way of doing something.

You may be asked to work outside sometimes, and to support and sometimes travel to other National Trust sites.
