GROUNDS MAINTENANCE OPERATIVE
Salary: £12.95 per hour
Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 07:30 to 16:30
Location: Cheltenham
Excellent benefits package including 2.5% Golden Hello payment on commencement of employment and a £2,000 annual retention bonus (pro-rata for part time employees), subject to Achieving and maintaining clearance requirements.
G4S Facilities Management are recruiting a Grounds Maintenance operative on a full-time, permanent basis based in Cheltenham.
We are looking for an organised individual with a keen eye and a brilliant way with people to provide a full and comprehensive delivery of services to our high-profile client. You will execute a comprehensive range of horticultural tasks to exacting standards, strictly adhering to all pertinent health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
Execute grounds maintenance tasks in strict accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators, adhering to site-specific policies, UK health and safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
Perform a diverse range of horticultural and lawn care duties, including soil cultivation, digging, meticulous weeding, precise edging, and appropriate planting techniques suitable for the local environment.
Conduct comprehensive lawn maintenance, encompassing edging
Maintain hand tools and light horticultural machinery, including ride- on and rotary mowers, strimmers, and hedge trimmers,
Proactively identify material and resource requirements for your tasks, communicating these needs to ensure seamless service delivery
Essential
Knowledge of horticultural practices and techniques
Proficiency in operating grounds maintenance equipment
Strong Communication
Full UK Driving Licence
LANTRA Certification
First Aid at Work
Must be willing to undergo extended security clearance.
