We are seeking an experienced and inspiring Conference & Events Operations Manager to lead our team in delivering flawless event execution, outstanding guest experiences, and strong commercial performance.
The Person:
You are an accomplished hospitality professional with a proven background in luxury events or food & beverage operations. You combine strong operational leadership with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
You will be:
- An experienced events or F&B leader with a strong operational track record in a luxury hospitality environment
- Calm, confident and composed, with the ability to lead teams through large-scale and high-profile events
- A strong communicator who builds trusted relationships with clients, colleagues and senior stakeholders
- Guest-focused with exceptional planning, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Commercially aware, standards-driven and passionate about delivering excellence in every detail.
The Role:
As Conference & Events Operations Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of all events within the hotel’s conference and banqueting spaces, ensuring every occasion is executed to the highest luxury standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the Conference & Events Operations Team to deliver seamless end-to-end event experiences
- Overseeing event scheduling, logistics, operational planning and departmental performance
- Building strong relationships with clients before, during and after events
- Ensuring food, beverage and service standards consistently meet brand and luxury hospitality expectations
- Driving operational efficiency, revenue optimisation and continuous improvement across the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and allocate resources to ensure smooth and efficient event delivery
- Brief, motivate and coach teams to provide impeccable service tailored to each event
- Personally lead key meet & greet and departure moments for event organisers and VIP guests
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety, security, stock control and financial procedures
- Work closely with Sales, Kitchen, Food & Beverage and operational teams to maximise guest satisfaction and commercial performance.
