At The Caledonian Edinburgh, our Conference & Events spaces host some of the city’s most memorable occasions. We are seeking a Casual Meeting & Events Team Member to deliver seamless setup, service and guest support, creating exceptional experiences for every meeting, event and celebration.
The Person:
- Guest-focused, positive and committed to delivering outstanding service
- Physically capable and comfortable with active, hands-on duties
- Approachable, calm under pressure, and proactive in anticipating needs
- A strong team player who communicates clearly and professionally
- Flexible, adaptable and eager to learn within a dynamic events environment.
The Role:
- Support the delivery of luxury-standard meetings, events and banqueting services
- Prepare, maintain and reset event spaces to required specifications
- Provide attentive, efficient guest service throughout event operations
- Collaborate closely with the Conference & Events Operations Team
- Uphold safety, service and brand standards in all activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up meeting rooms, equipment and service stations to event briefs
- Deliver food, beverage and ancillary services as specified
- Manage event-related transactions and “extras” accurately and efficiently
- Close down rooms, complete checklists and support event turnaround
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
