Occasional overtime to cover sickness and annual leave will be required.
You will responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the premises. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning roles. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike.
Duties:
Perform thorough cleaning of offices, corridors, restrooms, and communal areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment. Ensure all surfaces, floors, windows, and fixtures are cleaned to the highest standard. Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet roll as needed. Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment. Report any maintenance issues or damages identified during cleaning tasks. Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks within designated timeframes. Maintain a professional appearance and conduct oneself courteously when interacting with clients and colleagues.
Requirements:
Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is essential
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good physical stamina to perform manual cleaning tasks throughout the shift
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations is advantageous.
