Summary

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations within our organisation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of all mechanical and electrical systems, leading a team of technicians, and implementing effective maintenance strategies. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the maintenance team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programmes to minimise downtime and optimise equipment performance. Oversee repair and troubleshooting activities for mechanical, electrical, and automation systems. Manage projects related to equipment upgrades, installations, and modifications, ensuring timely delivery within budget. Utilise schematic diagrams and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately. Programme and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support automation processes. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety audits. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare parts inventory. Collaborate with other departments to plan maintenance schedules that minimise operational disruption. Qualifications Proven management experience within a maintenance environment, with strong leadership skills. Demonstrable project management capabilities, with a track record of successfully completing technical projects. Mechanical knowledge with experience in maintaining diverse machinery and equipment. Electrical experience, including working with schematics and troubleshooting electrical systems. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation technology. Supervising experience in a fast-paced industrial setting is highly desirable. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
