What you'll be doing
Working within our growing Facilities & Support Services team, you'll keep Saltram in good working order, supporting with planned and reactive maintenance tasks across the site, with some work at Plymbridge too. You'll be based in our workshops, and work closely with the Facilities team to prioritise work and support onsite contractors.
You'll work on joinery, basic plumbing and maintenance tasks - a "can do", problem solving attitude is really important, and a willingness to get stuck in whatever the weather.
Who we're looking for
Applications from redeployees are assessed against the minimum criteria for the role. In your application, please provide details of how you meet the minimum criteria below:
practical experience in the construction industry, supported with appropriate qualifications to NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience
competent use of standard machinery
familiarity with the use and maintenance of personal protective equipment
knowledge of relevant health and safety compliance requirements
