Birmingham Museums Trust is currently looking for a Venue Hire Sales Co-ordinator to ensure we are competitive and profitable in our delivery of hires.
About the role
You will deliver the sale of high quality venue hire across multiple Birmingham Museums Trust sites, with the majority of events taking place in Thinktank and Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery (BMAG).
Venue Hire & Filming is an area of opportunity for BMT and this role will support and enable initiatives that maximise growth in these areas. This role will liaise with clients and oversee the bookings for a variety of venue hire types including but not limited to hospitality events, third party hire, corporate events and filming location hire at our sites.
You will deliver on sales targets while maintaining exceptional customer service to clients, successful supplier management and collaborative working across BMT is essential to succeed in this role.
Success in this role, like all enterprise roles, will predominantly be measured through financial performance and related KPI’s. You will also be measured in a variety of ways including client satisfaction and general events sales/ conversion numbers.
About you
You will bring:
• Experience of working in a similar role / environment
• Knowledge of CRM and booking platforms
• Experience or working with internal stakeholders as well as working with external businesses
• Be able to demonstrate previous experience with delivering on sales targets
