Birmingham Museums Trust is looking for a Food & Beverage Co-ordinator (Craft & Culture) to join our team based at The Museum of The Jewellery Quarter.

You will supervise and support the delivery of the guest experience at Craft & Culture, helping to bring our full day-to-night offer across coffee, craft beer, wine and events to life. Your focus will be on ensuring a safe, welcoming and high-quality environment that reflects our values of craft, creativity and community, while supporting your team to deliver a consistent and memorable experience for every guest.

You will directly supervise the front-of-house team, ensuring they deliver excellent service, strong product knowledge and high operational standards. You will play a key role in setting the tone for service, supporting the F&B Manager in creating a positive, commercially focused and guest-centred culture.

You will help to ensure Craft & Culture is commercially strong, delivering against agreed sales and profitability targets. This includes supporting your team to maximise sales opportunities, maintain strong gross profit and uphold exceptional standards of customer service.

You will line manage Food & Beverage Assistants and, where required, supervise additional casual or agency staff to support busy periods and events. This is a service-first role, and you will lead from the front, with a strong focus on the day-to-day operation of the venue. You will take pride in delivering warm, professional and engaging hospitality while developing your team and supporting their growth.

Success in this role will be measured through financial performance and KPIs, alongside guest satisfaction, team engagement, operational standards and the successful delivery of events and experiences.

What we are looking for:

Previous experience of running a day-to-day service, ensuring your team delivers excellent guest experiences .
Ability to monitor performance against sales and gross profit targets, supporting the team to maximise revenue and minimise waste.
Previous experience of supporting team members, helping to build a confident and capable front-of-house team.
Work alongside the team by serving guests and completing operational tasks as required, demonstrating a hands-on approach.
Excellent organisational skills, including daily banking, stock takes and purchasing
Confidently use EPOS and business systems to support smooth service, accurate reporting and performance analysis.
