Our client, a well-respected franchise-approved car dealership in Treforest, is seeking a dedicated and motivated New/Used Car Sales Executive to join their high-performing sales team. Duties:
- Welcome and assist customers in the showroom, providing excellent customer service.
- Promote and sell new and used car stock, guiding customers through the sales process.
- Discuss and recommend add-on products, such as paint protection, GAP insurance, and service plans.
- Support stock management activities, including photographing and advertising used cars.
- Maintain showroom presentation and assist with administrative and sales support tasks.
- Shadow experienced colleagues to build sales skills if new to automotive sales.
- Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales journey.
- Contribute to showroom upkeep and collaborate with the team on daily operations.
Requirements:
- Reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Treforest.
- Hold a valid UK driving licence with minimal points.
- Previous experience in customer service or sales roles is desirable; prior automotive sales experience is not essential.
- Educated to at least Grade C/4 in GCSE Maths and English.
- Charismatic and approachable personality with excellent communication skills.
- IT literate, organised, and methodical in approach.
- Attention to detail with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Genuine interest in the automotive industry and automotive products.
- Open to applicants with limited or no previous car sales experience, as well as seasoned sales professionals.
