Humberstone Infant and Junior Academies are seeking a skilled and passionate Behaviour and Inclusion Leader to support pupils across school with engagement, relationships and emotional regulation, ensuring every child feels safe, valued and successful.Qualified teachers will be considered (paid at M1-6, dependant on experience)
You will play a leading role in celebrating and reinforcing positive behaviour each day, while holding children accountable for their behavior and choices.

You will:Build trusted relationships with children who need additional support to access learning and manage their emotions Plan and deliver structured 1:1 and group interventions, including Zones of Regulation strategies and work on target areas for individuals and groups Work in classrooms across school to support pupils and reward positive behaviours Respond to children who are dysregulated or disengaged, helping them to re-focus and re-join learning Celebrate positive behaviours and ensure these are recognised, rewarded and reinforced consistently across the day Work alongside class teachers, the SENDCo, DSL's and SLT to identify needs and implement support Liaise with parents and external agencies as needed
We’re Looking For Someone Who: Has experience supporting children with SEMH needs, challenging behaviour or emotional development in a school setting. Understands how emotional regulation, relationships and readiness to learn are closely linked Is confident, calm and reliable in challenging circumstances Can work both flexibly and within structured systems and routines Is a strong role model for pupils and demonstrates high standards of professionalism Demonstrates their presence positively with children, staff and parents
