Crynodeb
You will produce and analyse reports in order to recommend and persuade user departments to follow Trust initiatives such as Standardisation and Rationalisation programs. Working under own initiative, responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day Materials Management operation for specifically allocated wards/departments. To coordinate own workload to undertake counts to replenish stock to previously agreed levels using bar code data capture technology. Meeting ordering and delivery deadlines for consumables for patient care to be maintained by medical staff, assessing clinical requirements for urgent requests (i.e., procedural urgency/quality/price/supply route etc.) and implement effective ordering and distribution mechanisms.
