Children’s Home Manager
Location: Coalville
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000
3 Bed EBD Home

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Children’s Home Manager to lead a 3-bed residential children’s home in Coalville supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).

Our client is looking for a strong, compassionate leader who can create a stable and nurturing environment while driving high standards of care and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day management of the children’s home
Ensure the home operates in line with Ofsted regulations and Children’s Homes Standards
Lead, motivate, and develop a dedicated staff team
Promote positive outcomes for young people through structured care planning
Manage safeguarding procedures and risk assessments
Work closely with local authorities and external professionals
Maintain high standards of care, compliance, and record keeping

Requirements

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
Previous experience within children’s residential care
Experience as a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding practices
Excellent leadership and organisational skills

Salary & Benefits

£50,000 – £55,000 salary depending on experience
